Opening Ceremony

The special guests at the celebration included Kate Sweeting of Look North fame (centre) and the Mayor of Driffield, Councillor Philip Stocker, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Jasmine Stocker. At the time, the Chairman of the DNT was Mr Brian Kitt (left) and the Vice-chairman Mr John Scholey (second left).
